Veterinary Technician
COVH is looking for a full time or part time veterinary technician to join our health care team. Are you positive, a team player, energetic, enthusiastic and caring individual? If so, you may be a good fit for our hospital. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, venipuncture, laboratory (we have the new Idexx Catalyst in-house lab equipment), radiography, hospital treatment (IV catheters, administer medications (PO, SQ, IM, IV), prescriptions, monitoring), client education, assisting doctors, assisting during examinations, assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthesia, maintaining medical records, using our computer veterinary software (Avimark), call back phone calls, care for patients that are boarding, general housekeeping and giving a helping hand when needed. Previous veterinary technician experience is preferred. Computers are involved in most of our daily activities and computer experience is required. Our patients come first each and every time. Veterinary Assistant
COVH is looking for a full time or part time veterinary assistant to join our health care team. Are you positive, a team player, energetic, enthusiastic and caring individual? Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general housekeeping, care for boarding patients, assistance as required by the hospital, using our computer veterinary software, call back phone calls, some receptionists duties, some technician duties, preparing laboratory samples and giving a helping hand when needed. Veterinary Receptionist
COVH is looking for a full or part time veterinary receptionist to join our health care team. Are you positive, a team player, energetic, enthusiastic and caring individual? Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phone calls, using our veterinary computer software, scheduling appointments, handling monetary transaction, checking in and checking out clients, general housekeeping and giving a helping hand when needed. Previous receptionist experience is preferred. Qualified candidates must be people-oriented, have excellent people skills, and have computer experience. You must be able to work closely with our assistants, technicians and doctors in order to provide exceptional health care. You will be required to know our hospital protocols and take part in client education. You will have an active role in our hospital protocols, growth, and change. Are you up for this challenge?
